BOOKING PROCEDURE

After having the acceptance of tour, price and payment procedure, we will immediately make necessary arrangements which normally take about 2 working days. PAYMENT

Deposit

Gulf Travels & Tours will require settling a 30% non refundable deposit in order to guarantee your travel services. Not only for special groups but also for service during certain peak periods normal deposit fees may be increased by our Providers. Please inquire upon booking.

Final Payment

The remaining balance of the tour price should be settled at least 20 days in advance unless other arrangements are agreed when booking is confirmed.

Tour cost & Validity

Price quoted are net basis and valid according to the date specified on the printed tariffs, quotation, invoice etc, Gulf Travels & Tours warrants that the prices or rates quoted are correct at the time of issuance but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation.

CANCELLATION FEES & REFUNDS

Gulf travels & Tours be aware of cancellation are a part of the travel business. So we try to be as flexible as possible as with our policy. Company operation and communication costs and direct charges which h may be levied by our local providers such as hotels, airlines, etc will normally be charged to clients. We will ever try to minimize any cancellation fees to our clients.

1. Cancellation made before the tour starts - You will loose deposit as mentioned above.
2. Cancellation made after commencement of travel generally no refund either in full or in part, will be given for unused services included on the program unless it is directly caused by Gulf Travels & Tours. However in case of your health problem, emergency case a refund will be considered after consult with other service providers involve such as airline, hotel, transport for their cancellation policy.
3. 3 Force majeure - A full refund of the unutilized numbers of the days will be provided if tour has to suspend due to unforeseen circumstances which is beyond our control such as natural catastrophe, political unrest, and sudden cancellation of airline without notice or accidents.

NOTE: The above calculation does not cover International airfare.

CHILD FARE

One child under 11 years old is generally granted a reduction of 80% of the tour price provided that the who is accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room in an existing bed. 50% of adult fare will be charged for the children under 10 year old sharing room and bed with parent. 25 % of the adult fare will be charged for infant 2 years and younger not occupying a bed or seat in coach of aircraft.

COMPLEMENTARY POLICY

If having 15 full paying members, Gulf Travels & Tours will provide tour leader complementary half twin room basis subject to a maximum limit of two members per group.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be provided as indicated and facilities such as private bath, air conditioning system, hot and cold water. Please be noted that the first-class international accommodation may not be available in some Myanmar destinations. When travelling to the more remote areas of Myanmar where there the facilities do not exist, Gulf Travels & Tours provide the best available alternative there. If circumstances dictate, accommodation at alternate hotels of equal quality will be provided. Fare is based on two people sharing a room. If a separate single room is require, there will be a single supplement liable. Daily breakfast, service charges and taxes at hotels are normally included if not otherwise indicate clearly.

MEALS

In general, Breakfast (B) is served at hotels in the main cities. Unless full board or Half board is joined upon the tour price Gulf Travels will provide either Lunch(L) or Dinner(D) in hotels or in appropriate local restaurants. Box lunch or dinner will be provided on various trekking and adventure programs.

BAGGAGE

Two pieces of baggage not exceeding 44 lbs( 20 kgs ) per person is allowed. Any loss or damage to baggage or belonging are not responsible to the company. However, the company will assists for claims.

REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES

No refund will be given, after the commencement of travel for unused tickets, transportation, sightseeing tours, accommodation, meals or other services either in part or full according to the programmer.

RESPONSIBILITY

Being as the agent for the person in regard to travel, neither Gulf Travels & Tours Company limited nor any person assisting with it is responsible for rail-road,, boat, airplane or any other means of transport and assume no liability for any loss, injury or damage, accident, delay or irregularities sustained by the clients including those occurred out side the tour programs. Gulf Ltd will accept no responsibilities for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in other services, accident, sickness, weather, strikes, war and other causes of unforeseen circumstances or other cause beyond its control. Participation in the tour implies the person’s agreement to the above conditions.
