Detail Itinerary

 

Day 01 Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Airport and meet our representative and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 02 Yangon Sightseeing

Morning head for the Magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, lively Chaukhtatkyi (a colossal reclining Buddha), Afternoon is free time to make your own discoveries around this leafy capital, such as visiting some of the other important temples and pagodas or shopping at the centrally located Bogyoke market, the city’s busiest and most colorful bazaar etc.
Overnight at Yangon.

Day 03 Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (coach)

Direct drive to Kyaikhtiyo ( 190 km, approx 6 hour ). En route stop at the Shwenyaungpin Nat shrine to appeal for a safe journey according to believe of local people. Upon arrival at Kim pun base camp, board on an open truck for ( 11 km, approx 45 min ) steep but well-paved road which leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp. Continue walk up (4 km, apporx 1 hour ) to the renowned Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry you in a sedan chair. The gold leaf cover completely the entire rock which directly balanced on the edge fo the cliff. Afternoon spend with local pilgrimage at one of the most sacred religious sites. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 04 Kyaikhtiyo-Bago

After breakfast, walk down to the upper camp, board on the truck and return to base camp. Meet your and proceed to Bago including sightseeing : Shwethalaung reclining Buddha Image, measuring 55 meter long, 16 meter high, and the region’s highest Shwemawdaw Pagoda of 144 meter height, Hinthagone Pagoda, the place where Bago was founded and Hanthawadi palace site surrounding a former Mon palace ground knows as “ Kambawzathadi” housed king “ Bayinnaung of 16th century. Overnight in Bago.

Day 05 Bago–Mandalay

Early morning transfer to railways station for your Mandalay bound train (5 UP 06:45/2010) (time to check in at Bago to railway station in half hour advance). It is necessary to pack some food for trip to Mandalay. It will have the opportunity to meet local people who are traveling to their native town or visiting up country. Overnight at Mandalaly.

Day 06 Mandalaly-Mingun-Mandalay < coach/boat>

In the morning, after breakfast to Mayan Chan Jetty, board on a local fishermen boat will take to you Mingun Pagpda across Ayeyarwady river ( 11 km, approx 1 hour ), home to the world’s largest unfinished pagoda with a gigantic bell . It is very amusing trip on the water and observe the local villagers and their ways of life. Back to the hotel and afternoon time is yours free to experience by your self. Ideal to rent a car and visit some of the surrounding interesting places such as the Kyauktawgyi paya, Kuthodaw Paya ( home to the world’s biggest book ) and Shwenandaw Kyaung and To end the day , enjoy the sunset at Manalay Hill. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 07 Mandalay

Breakfast at hotel and take the rest of time at your leisure. Your might want to rent a car and explore near by ancient capitals such as Amapura, Ava, and Saging or take a half-day trip to the hill , for a sunset view over town ( car rent and entry fee not include ). Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 08 Mandalay-Bagan

Early morning, transfer to jetty and embark on Bagan bound cruise along the Ayeyarwaddy River and sail to Bagan ( about 295 km southwest of Mandalay , ETD 07:00 –ETA 17:30 ) En route enjoy the scenic beauty of river Ayeyarwaddy. Only travelling by reverie journey the one could get the opportunity to experience one of the riverside villages. Upon arrival an awaiting car take you to hotel and overnight at Bagan.

Day 09 Bagan

After breakfast, start to explore the distinctive Bagan by cycling as per leading of your charming guide through the magnificent temples and towering pagodas with ancient and very attractive murals dating back over millennium. Some still contain frescoes from historic times. Nyaung U itself has one of the more interesting markets to be found in the country. You will also visit a lacquer-ware workshop and the long and arduous process of making bowls and trays that often take months to complete. In the evening a climb up of one of the ruins for a breathtaking view of the sun setting over the mighty river and surrounding plain filled with countless temples and pagodas. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 10 Bagan

After breakfast, the rest of day is yours time and leisure yourself. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 11 Bagan- Inle Lake

After breakfast, direct proceed by private coach to Inle lake ( 358 km, approx 10 hour ). Inle Lake is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar and situated 1320 meter above the sea level among the hazy Blue Mountains. It have itself 14 miles of length and 7 miles of wide.

(As the roads in this region are in extremely bad condition and cannot emphasize enough how bad these roads have become, please be noted that need to be prepare for some long and arduous travelling on this stretch.)

.Day 12 Inle Lake excursion

Morning breakfast at hotel and 5 minute to jetty for exploring the exquisite sights of Inle Lake, including the multiple ethnic floating villages scattered along the water, floating firms, the unique leg rowers and their fishing methods, and the breathtaking beauty of the lake itself, visit five Day Market which due once on five days to see the colorful tribes, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and the Bazaar. Back to jetty and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 13 Inle

After breakfast, the rest of the day is yours time and leisure yourself. Overnight at Inle

Day 14 Inle-Heho-Yanogn

Breakfast at hotel and an awaiting car transfer you to Heho (27 km, approx 1 hour ) for Yangon bound flight . Upon arrival at Yangon transfer to your hotel and rest of the day free. Overnight at Yangon..

Day 15 Departure

Breakfast at hotel and here your unique trip to Myanmar ends. Transfer to airport service is excluding however your tour leader will be on hand to advise you as to the options available.
